Bataan Death March; aka Another Fine Mess....

This is a "nice" one mile hike up through dense woods from the valley below ("nice" = "easy" according to Bill). Gretchen had other opinions, although she made it up like a champ! The trail is off the Chena Hot Springs Highway about 60 miles east of Fairbanks.

This will most likely be the last posting for a few days because we are pulling up stakes from Fairbanks and heading toward Denali and will probably "dry camp" at a BLM campground on the Denali Highway(which is in the boondocks).
