More Fantastic Kenai

Salmon fishing on the Russian River. This is known here as "combat Fishing".
Glacier calving on Seward cruise. We went right up to the face. The sounds of the glacier were awesome.
This is the Russian River Falls where we watched the salmon jump the falls and saw this grizzley catch a salmon just as I was taking this picture. He was about 70 feet away! Tried to get a picture of the salmon jumping but the camera has a built in delay so that by the time it took a picture the fish had hit the water.
Not much to see, but this is a humpback whale diving right off our boat on a sight seeing cruise out of Seward.
The Russian influence is obvious in this Orthodox church in Ninilchik on the Kenai Peninsula. It was built in about 1902 on a bluff overlooking the Cook Inlet.
We spent probably the best week camped right on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Cook Inlet. Thats our camper right center the closest to the water! What views!
This is taken out our window at 11:30PM. Yes, that's PM!
